ONLINE AUCTIONS: SKY HIGH FEES A THING OF THE PAST

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Pro Audio Forum Goers Weigh In: Sellers Feel that Auction Sites are Far Too Greedy. One Member Seeks Revenge.

Sellers are often revolted after receiving their bill for selling items on popular online auction sites. According to ProAux.com President Gordon Brinton, anger and resentment toward those big sites can run deep, particularly among the Pro Audio community. His findings come from seeing many years of discussion and debate in audio related forums over where to sell gear. He puts into plain words what exactly led him to start up his free audio equipment auction site, “We just needed a place to buy, sell, and trade our audio gear without feeling like we’re being fleeced and without a bunch of doll babies and jewelry getting in the way.” Gordon has generously opened his site to the Pro Audio community and is allowing them to buy and sell, (auction style,) completely free of charge.

A live sound engineer, home studio owner, and all around audiophile, Gordon has certainly had his share of auctioning used equipment. He speaks for many when he says he is fed up with soaring End-of-Auction, Listing, and Reserve fees. On some auction sites it is possible to run up fees of over $50 just by selling a single item.

Gordon has decided to fight back by giving away auction space to anyone who wants it. All standard auction business is on-the-house regardless of whether you are buying, selling, or trading. In fact, the only way to generate a fee at ProAux.com is to specify that your listings be given special treatment. Web Address: http://www.proaux.com

Free MMORPG, Free MMOG, P2P MMORG? Where to start your MMO gaming life?

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Recently after a few years of thinking at it, i released a MMOG Portal. What is a MMOG? A MMOG is Massive Multiplayer Online Game. In these games that you play online on internet, you interact with thousands of people, for a goal, socialization, in a virtual world.

With the launch of World of Warcraft, the MMOG that has the highest players database at this point ( 9 million at the last count ), this genre of games, received a lot of publicity and many people of all ages, started to join MMOGs, for fun, socialization, adventure.

Where to start your MMO gaming adventure? Well if you have a little experience with this genre, i recommend first to try a few free MMOGs.
They are tons out here, but they have low quality gameplay, and features, because they have low funds to sustain them. Some of them keep the free subscription, but they have shops with high end items, for players to buy, thus they get money to sustain the servers, and get a small profit from it..

At some point you will move to P2P MMOGs. P2P means Pay 2 Play, basically you pay a subscription every month, between 5$ to 14.99 $, depending on the quality of the game and his features. Of course most of this P2P MMOG have a trial for you to try, without paying, usually between 7 to 14 days of free trial, for you to see if you like the game, and if you would like to subscribe you can continue from where you started. This is highly recommended before subscribing to a new MMOG.

Check our list of Free MMOG, MMORPG Here

Check our full game list Here , some of them have free trials for you to try.

Most film critics nowadays work for the major studios and give opinions that help Hollywood sell tickets. These men and women have only their personal agenda at heart. So, where can you go for movie reviews without spin and bias? I’ve recently discovered The Critical Critics and visit the site on a regular basis. The critics there provide straight forward opinions on why a movie is or isn’t worth your time and money. Their thoughts are presented in a clear and easy to understand manner. It’s no wonder The Critical Critics have been regarded as an authority on what movies are hot and what movies are not. Check them out – I think you’ll agree!
