ONLINE AUCTIONS: SKY HIGH FEES A THING OF THE PAST

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Pro Audio Forum Goers Weigh In: Sellers Feel that Auction Sites are Far Too Greedy. One Member Seeks Revenge.

Sellers are often revolted after receiving their bill for selling items on popular online auction sites. According to ProAux.com President Gordon Brinton, anger and resentment toward those big sites can run deep, particularly among the Pro Audio community. His findings come from seeing many years of discussion and debate in audio related forums over where to sell gear. He puts into plain words what exactly led him to start up his free audio equipment auction site, “We just needed a place to buy, sell, and trade our audio gear without feeling like we’re being fleeced and without a bunch of doll babies and jewelry getting in the way.” Gordon has generously opened his site to the Pro Audio community and is allowing them to buy and sell, (auction style,) completely free of charge.

A live sound engineer, home studio owner, and all around audiophile, Gordon has certainly had his share of auctioning used equipment. He speaks for many when he says he is fed up with soaring End-of-Auction, Listing, and Reserve fees. On some auction sites it is possible to run up fees of over $50 just by selling a single item.

Gordon has decided to fight back by giving away auction space to anyone who wants it. All standard auction business is on-the-house regardless of whether you are buying, selling, or trading. In fact, the only way to generate a fee at ProAux.com is to specify that your listings be given special treatment. Web Address: http://www.proaux.com

Free MMORPG, Free MMOG, P2P MMORG? Where to start your MMO gaming life?

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Recently after a few years of thinking at it, i released a MMOG Portal. What is a MMOG? A MMOG is Massive Multiplayer Online Game. In these games that you play online on internet, you interact with thousands of people, for a goal, socialization, in a virtual world.

With the launch of World of Warcraft, the MMOG that has the highest players database at this point ( 9 million at the last count ), this genre of games, received a lot of publicity and many people of all ages, started to join MMOGs, for fun, socialization, adventure.

Where to start your MMO gaming adventure? Well if you have a little experience with this genre, i recommend first to try a few free MMOGs.
They are tons out here, but they have low quality gameplay, and features, because they have low funds to sustain them. Some of them keep the free subscription, but they have shops with high end items, for players to buy, thus they get money to sustain the servers, and get a small profit from it..

At some point you will move to P2P MMOGs. P2P means Pay 2 Play, basically you pay a subscription every month, between 5$ to 14.99 $, depending on the quality of the game and his features. Of course most of this P2P MMOG have a trial for you to try, without paying, usually between 7 to 14 days of free trial, for you to see if you like the game, and if you would like to subscribe you can continue from where you started. This is highly recommended before subscribing to a new MMOG.

Check our list of Free MMOG, MMORPG Here

Check our full game list Here , some of them have free trials for you to try.

Most film critics nowadays work for the major studios and give opinions that help Hollywood sell tickets. These men and women have only their personal agenda at heart. So, where can you go for movie reviews without spin and bias? I’ve recently discovered The Critical Critics and visit the site on a regular basis. The critics there provide straight forward opinions on why a movie is or isn’t worth your time and money. Their thoughts are presented in a clear and easy to understand manner. It’s no wonder The Critical Critics have been regarded as an authority on what movies are hot and what movies are not. Check them out – I think you’ll agree!

Da Ugly Devil’s Heaven

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2007

Variety is an important feature in life. Who wants to eat the same meal daily or to watch the same movie repeatedly? The same can be true when reading Internet blogs. If you are looking for a blog that has an assortment of topics covered in its entries, then Da Ugly Devil’s Heaven is perfect.

The tagline for Da Ugly Devil’s Heaven is “Sports, Music, Technologies, People, Places, and much more. . .” This is an accurate description for this Website. Just viewing the most recent week’s postings, a plethora of topics are covered. The author covers everything from a review of a lottery syndicate to the NBA finals to the WWE news and reviews to the website reviews to a possible suicide at a tourist location. Each one of these entries is a nice mix of details and opinions. Another great feature to Da Ugly Devil’s Heaven is the link to a language translator and other user-friendly functions necessary for any site. Obviously these translators are readily available on the Internet, but having it accessible at one click was both convenient and appreciated.

So, if you’re looking to read about an array of topics, in almost any language, it would be well worth your time to visit this Website.

Is Tupac Shakur Dead or Alive?

Monday, July 2nd, 2007

To cut things short, in my honest opinion, I believe Tupac is dead. A lot of people breeze over that though, and that’s what the problem is. By saying he is dead, we are suggesting he is no longer alive - he no longer physically exists. But just because he doesn’t exist as a physical form, a solid being, doesn’t mean he’s not here, right? Through Tupac’s touching lyrics and music, he reached out to us, and communicated with us. That’s what he was best at. As long as we still listen to his music, his words, he will still ‘touching us’ and communicating with us. So even after Tupac passed away, his music still remains - his essence still burns in our hearts. Remember, this is just what I believe. Death is a concept, depending on how you interpret it and what you believe, you may think differently.

Saturday, May 12th, 2007

As Mobile Phones get more and more advanced and there is more and more mobile phone brands to choose from it gets more and more difficult to choose which phone to get. In today’s new phones there is support for functions like W-LAN, Email, AGPS positioning and other things you just could not get just for a couple of years ago. Phones are also getting more divided into many different segments. You have the high end segment that is aimed for people who want the latest and best features in their phones, such features like WLAN and a GPS mentioned above. These phones are the most expensive phones and contains all the latest features.

After the high end phones we have the more average phones. These are the phones that are aimed for the general public and usually contains features like mp3 player and possibility to receive email. After that we have the lowend segment with the cheapest phones. These usually does not contain any extra features and has an really low Mobile Phone Tariff.

You can usually get these phones as Pay as You go Mobile (also known as prepay) which means that you pay an amount in advance and then you can call for this amount. After that amount is used up you have to refill your account with more money to continue calling. Pay as you go mobile accounts is mostly used in low cost countries but it starting to get big in other countries also.

In order to find out which phone you should get you can go to your local store or try to buy one from the internet. We suggest that you visit Mobile Media to find out which phone that suites you best. They do not only sell mobile phones there but also has Mobile News and Information and also a section for Clearance Mobile Phones.
