Webmaster Help Site Press Release

Tuesday, November 6th, 2007

Oct 12, 2007 (Rochester, NH) On Wednesday , October 8, A new website opened to the public offering free online help with being a webmaster.

Since the web went mainstream many people and businesses have jumped on board dreaming of the giant amounts of money they were going to make with the seemingly endless amount of customers looking to buy. Every type of site you can think of was thrown into the mix and the internet market place was born. Unfortunately things were not as easy as they seemed staying ahead of the competition became hard because the competition had grown beyond anyones expectations.

Much hasn't changed since then. The market for everything on the web is seemingly never ending and managing a website for little profits can be overwhelming in terms of time and money. There are hundreds if not thousands of different sites out there claiming to help out the poor webmaster but they can be costly and often do a poor job. The newest website to join the madhouse is as the name suggests http://theworkingwebmaster.com tailored to todays working webmaster. They are providing a service like few other sites do. Free help. Many of the tedious tasks that make webmasters want to give up like checking keyword popularity and checking for dead links can be done quickly and easily from there site.

Hopefully this site doesn't fall into the category of so many others and fail and not be around to help out the online community and make everyones jobs a little easier.

One of the Best Holiday resorts in Turkey: Kusadasi

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

One of Turkey’s more attractive holiday resorts is Kusadasi. It offers an idyllic environment for a wonderful vacation. It is located on Turkey’s west coast – about ninety kilometers south of Izmir.

Kusadasi is widely regarded as the Aegean’s most attractive city. It is situated within close reach of some of the country’s top historical sites, including Priene, Ephesus, Didyma, and Miletos. This makes it an ideal location for holiday sightseers. Also we have to mention the beatiful Kusadasi hotels to stay in..

Fans of powdery sand beaches flock to Kusadasi in droves to enjoy the warm and clear waters. Such water sports as beach volleyball, water skiing, windsurfing, and sailing are all on offer. As the day comes to an end, you can enjoy one of Kusadasi’s remarkable sunsets – an event you will never forget! The whole city fills up with people in the fancy restaurants and cafes along the palm tree lined boulevard. You can watch the ships and yachts coming and going while enjoying a panoramic view of the sun setting on this Mediterranean paradise. Enjoy a delicious seafood meal in one of the restaurants, or enjoy some of the Aegean specialties. Then you can dance until dawn at one of the city’s many discos and bars.

Over fifty thousand people call Kusadasi their home. Each year, that population increases in the summer time, as visitors from all over flock to Kusadasi to enjoy its myriad natural treasures. Since the 1970s, the tourist industry in Kusadasi has developed at a rapid pace.

You will not have to go far to enjoy a taste of history. Kusadasi has a number of well-preserved Ottoman and Turkish mosques that you can explore. The most impressive of these is undoubtedly the Fortress Mosque, which was built in the 17th century.

Article and Links Marketing Project

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

Two ways to get a lot of backlinks for a small price is by way of unique blog posts and link directory submissions. Unique blog posts can work this way.

  1. Arrange for an experienced article writer to put together 300 articles about your product and/or services.
  2. Find a web site that you can enter each article, one at a time, into a blog network.
  3. It is best to vary how many articles you enter each day. For example, 3 one day, 4 the next day, 2 the next day and so on.
  4. This will ensure your product and/or service receives exposure over a considerable amount of time.

The other way is by gathering together your link details. Most link submission services ask for the following details:

  • Name – Your name
  • Email – For submission confirmations
  • URL – Your web site url
  • Title – Your web site Title
  • Description – The full description of your website
  • Keywords – This is for SEO and spidering purposes (Google loves this).

This should ensure your website receives good attention over the next 6-12 months. Especially from the web directories that accept your link submission.

Choosing the right SEO Company

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

When you find that even with all your hard work you are unable to get the top rankings on the search engines then you better think to hire an seo company to help you with your search marketing campaign, but be sure to keep these points in mind when going out to locate a seo company.

1. Ask them what are their techniques: What are the seo services they offer and what are the techniques they implement to get top rankings.

2. Do they guarantee a #1 rank: If they do then this is the company you should keep away from. As one could guarantee a top rank on search engines.

3. What are the terms they rank for: Ask them their keywords for which they rank. If they can't rank for their own keywords then how would they help you achieve top rankings.

4. What are their points on return on investments: Well any good seo company shall have it's first priority given to client's return on investment.

5. Find about them on forums/blogs: There is a huge database of forums and seo news blog where you could get the information about these company and people if they are ethical or not!

6. If a company says we will get you to top positions on search engines with in a week then that is also a company you should not hire!

How to make money running your own web directory

Saturday, September 8th, 2007

According to Wikipedia a web directory is a directory on the World Wide Web that specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links. Web directories often allow site owners to submit their site for inclusion. Editors review submissions for fitness.

Probably the most famous web directories are Yahoo and DMOZ.org and rightly so. But they aren’t the only directories and there is room for more. Yahoo charge $299 for express inclusion in their directory and it is also possible for you to make money from a directory.

There are two types of web directory, general directories (like mine www.glowdir.com and dirstop.com) as well as niche directories. A niche directory is one that focuses on specific areas on the web. I have a niche directory for Media, News and PR. So your first decision is what type of directory do you want, general or niche. If you have a passion or a hobby then I would suggest making a niche directory about that. Your audience is smaller, but it is well known and your competition is smaller. If you want a general directory then you have a lot of competition but your potential customers are all the web users in the world!

What makes a directory popular. If you want to start charing sums like Yahoo for inclusion in your directory you need to have two things: traffic and page rank. The more visitors you have to your web directory the more exposure each included site gets. The higher your page rank the greater the importance put on each link in your directory by the search engines.

So what do you need to do, here is a list:

  1. Download a free directory script like PHPLD
  2. Get a template to make it look unique
  3. Advertise you directory (in forums, in your blog etc) and get link submissions
  4. Build back links to your site (that is other sites linking to you)
  5. When your popularity rises you can start charging for inclusion.
  6. Add Google Adsense adverts to your site to increase revenue.

Good luck!
