i wouldnt call this a reel, this is an example of motion design/kinetic typography. To create something like this i would suggest purchasing/learning adobe after effects and illustrator as well as some books on design and composition/layout so your vids look great no matter when you press pause

I have just found out about "reel" videos and I am really interested in making my own. May some expert about these videos enlight on what programs are needed to make such an art? Thank you.

It takes a LONG time to get the hang of it – and you'll still feel like it looks like shit no matter what you do.

Keep practicing, man – I feel your pain.

I am trying to copy this now using another monologue in After Effects.

Man this is not easy. So far I've done 2 SECONDS in 3 hours and it looks awful. This either took you a long time or you are a wizard.

    Great job.
