Noble Web Directory

September 8th, 2007 by chetan

Web directories are now in great abundance and run the gamut from general web directories like Yahoo and the Open Directory Project to highly specialized niche directories that may only target specific websites. General directories may contain a variety of categories from art to finance, while niche directories may only categorize pet websites, for example. Some charge for inclusion, but the vast majority are free. While search engines have taken the place of web directories as the tool surfers use to locate websites, webmasters have discovered their usefulness for Search Engine Optimization.

Noble Directory is a human edited, spam free and well promoted paid web directory providing nice strong backlinks to the submitters. The directory at present has 700+ sub-categories within 29 main categories. And the number of categories will be increased soon so that the link submitter gets a link deep into the correct category which is related to the submitted site. The submitter pays for a review of the site, not only for a backlink. It is already listing many authority sites and other quality sites in many categories. The directory is soon planning to provide in-content links through articles in related categories. There is also a web directory blog with directory owners discussing something related to directories.
